Google Buzz

On February 9th, Google expanded its Gmail service with Google Buzz; Facebook’s new rival. With Buzz it is possible to follow online activities of friends on other websites. For example, updates on Twitter and new posts on friends’ blogs. Buzz also allows its users to share own statuses, pictures and videos with their friends. Friends then can react on these messages. The features seem promising, as many people expect from Google, but with many new products there will be mixed opinions. Three days after the launch of Google Buzz, it received many concerns from users regarding the complicated privacy settings. Google took this issue very seriously and has already implemented new changes: Google tweaks Buzz privacy settings
